Ålands historia på en timme / The history of Åland in One Hour

Färgfotoredigering där en gammal klocktavla är fylld med bilder representerande olika tidsepoker från leridoler till medeltida relikkors till den ryska dubbelörnen till Ålands flagga. Även texten "Ålands historia på en timme" finns på bildytan.

Från nomaderna som hittade säl på små öar i Östersjön till dagens självstyrda landskap, här kommer hela historian i ett paket!

På fredagarna mellan 27.6 – 29.8.2025 arrangeras ’Ålands historia på en timme’ -guidningar i Ålands kulturhistoriska museums basutställning.

Guidningarna ges kl. 13 på svenska och varar ca. en timme. Guidningen ingår i inträdet.

 

The History of Åland in One Hour!

Do you want to get an understanding of the history and culture of Åland in a nutshell? 

Guided tours will be given in the main exhibition of the Cultural History Museum of Åland on summer Fridays between June 27th and August 29th 2025.

The tours will be given at 3 pm in English and take approximately an hour. The tour is included in the entry fee.
